Description

MOTION Footpegs – Chromoly Bushing Bolt

High-strength chromoly steel bushing bolt manufactured to a 12.9 hardware rating for maximum durability and fatigue resistance. Designed to withstand heavy impacts and vibration commonly experienced by footpegs.

Features a button head design to reduce the chance of direct rock strikes and bending. Supplied with a reusable thread locker pre-applied for bushing changes; however, a high-strength red thread locker must be reapplied during installation to prevent loosening. MOTION Footpegs recommend Vibra-Tite 541 or Loctite® 680 Retaining Compound.

Engineered to bend rather than break under major impact, allowing the bolt to be straightened with a wrench if required. Regular inspection is recommended, as footpegs experience extreme vibration and shock.

Note: Bushing bolts are considered wear items and are not covered under our lifetime warranty.
